  7. ±41A  new  a  much better textroutine has
  8. been implemented, thus taking over the
  9. old   one.    This   new   textroutine
  10. supports   proportional  large  fonts.
  11. The  textroutine  is also been made so
  12. it  may  display  all  kinds  of other
  13. different  graphical  implementations.
  14. Like  for instance the smileys used in
  15. the reviews.

  17. Another   small   finess  included  is
  18. better   (but  slower)  fading.   this
  19. results  in  a  much  ±42smoother±41 fading.
  20. The   old   fading   was  made  a  bit
  21. different, but the new one is nicer to
  22. look at.

  24. Headline now offers the opportunity to
  25. load graphic images and display them!!
  26. However, this is not the same as clip-
  27. art  -  because  it  isn't possible to
  28. scroll   the   picture.   Where  these
  29. pictures   are   included   you   will
  30. experience them as one-page articles -
  31. with a picture(!) instead of text. The
  32. reason for this is the screen-scroller
  33. which demands±42 a lot±41 of memory.

  35. It's  now  possible to choose a module
  36. in  the menu-panel instead of ±43ONLY±41 the
  37. F1-F2.  This is much more comfortable!

  39. New  and  better  graphics  have  been
  40. painted  by  Fairfax/Andromeda.   This
  41. freshes  the  design  up  a  bit in my
  42. opinion.   The  readers  requests were
  43. followed seriously! It helps...
  44.  
  45. More  and  prettier  fonts  have  been
  46. installed,    of    course   including
  47. propotional  large  fonts  too!  We've
  48. now   got  four  8*8  fonts  and  four
  49. different propotional big fonts - with
  50. Times44 as the biggest. In my opinion,
  51. this gives the design and layout a big
  52. improvement and raises the readability
  53. a lot!

  55. Actually,  the articles have also been
  56. improved  a  lot!   I have tried to be
  57. more  original  and  write  about more
  58. interesting    subjects   than   those
  59. concerning   ±43boring  ±41 stuff   such  as
  60. diskstealing  and  faked charts.  But,
  61. of course, some of these dull subjects
  62. still  can  be found in articles which
  63. were supported by±42 YOU!±41 Instead of just
  64. complaining -write something yourself!

  68. further,  then  write!   With any luck
  69. you'll see your idea presented in this
  70. kind of article in ±42issue #3.
